The Best Productivity Tool - Habit Stacking

For this week's RR post, I wanted to share an underrated productivity tool I use daily.

Firstly, why do I care about productivity tools?

I believe the more productive I can be, the more I can achieve - it's as simple as that!

What is Habit Stacking

As you build habits, you strengthen neural networks in the brain. The more you do a given 'thing', the stronger and more efficient the connections become - this is called 'synaptic pruning'.

One of the best ways to build a new habit is to stack it onto a current habit - this is Habit Stacking.

Here are a few Habit Stacking ideas:
- After I drink my coffee, I will practice 10 minutes of breathwork.
- After I walk in the door from work, I will list 3 things that I'm grateful for. 
- After I do my teeth, I will take my Puresport CBD.

I find this useful when I'm trying to achieve more and improve my morning/evening routine. I would always recommend being intentional with your habits to ensure you continue to grow every day. 

I will admit, I've learnt most of this from James Clear in his incredible book, "Atomic Habits" - #WouldRecommend
